Grant Selection process
We consider the following when we determine what projects to
fund:
Program Areas
Geographic Focus
The Quality of the Program
What We Do Not Fund

Program Areas
LFF supports programs and organizations in the areas of:
- Education
- Arts and Culture
- Civic and Community
- Health and Human Services

Geographic Focus
Priority consideration
will be given for projects within Montgomery
County and surrounding areas.
In addition, LFF considers projects on a case–by-case
basis outside this area if the projects are Ohio-based
and reflect our priorities of interest.

The Quality of the Program
To evaluate a proposal, the following questions are
considered:
- Is this organization uniquely suited
to meet the challenge of the proposal?
- How do the activities of the organization
benefit the community?
- Will the program be carried out
in an efficient and effective manner?
- Is the budget complete and realistic?
- Are the objectives measurable
